By the grace of Lord Rama and with the blessings of
Acharyals, We were blessed to have the arrival of Anjaneya Swami safely
in Dubai.
It had been a
remarkable journey right from the day when the thought of bringing an
Anjaneya Vahanam came to our mind and when we decided to order the same
for our 7th Year Sri Rama Navami Utsavam.
As
per the traditional practice, Vahanams are prepared from a special wood
known as "Mavalinga Maram" which has its own unique properties of
withstanding the passage of time and being very sturdy. These woods are
very rare and its availability is a challenge and very tough to procure.
However, as this Utsavam is itself through his blessings and desire, we
got the same without much troubles, though it delayed initially.
It
was a very short time frame of less than 2 months 10 days from the day
we ordered the Vahanam and the initial time given to us was minimum 1
month 20 days, again the Carpenters, who prepare the same do it in the
most orthodox manner following lot of rules and regulations and they
work only on certain days and the entire thing was getting delayed due
to various reasons.
We were passing through a
very tense period thinking of this. The entire responsibility of Vahanam
was given to Shri Vishwanatha Sharma Ji (Vishwam Anna) from Kalpathy,
Palakkad.
A team was immediately formed under
the leadership of Sharma Ji to bring the vahanam from INDIA and project
"Vayudev" commenced. A hand picked team of members by Sharma Ji includes
Shri Ravi Anna (Hotel Sri Bhavan, Palakkad), Shri Raman Krishnamoorthy
(Dart Logistics), Nurani Kishore, Nurani NS Ramamoorthy (our Nurani Ram)
and Sethumadhavan (Coimbatore, Perumal Stores).
Besides
the above, several people had come forward to help and had kept us in
their prayers for the safe arrival of Anjaneya Swami. Though we had
passed through several turbulence in this journey, Yesterday we were all
blessed
with his arrival on his own day,
SATURDAY
and also Saturday being the day
of "Sri Ram Navami, Seetha Kalyanamahotsavam and our Anjaneya Utsavam
planned in this years celebrations.
Our
Special Thanks to Shri Vishwam Anna for executing this project well in
advance. His planning, selection of team members, allocation and
execution of this task was highly professional. They have executed it in
such a way that it looked like a simple small task, which we have been
thinking of as "Mission Impossible".
Its a
Milestone in the History of our Samaj which will be cherished by
